My Spiritual Hospital
One of the treatment concepts in any serious illness is that of mentally visualizing that the cause is being attacked by the good guys. There have been some very potent reports concerning the effects of visualization.

My visualization goes much further. Each day I take a trip to my Spiritual Hospital. In most cases a trip to any Hospital is a dreaded event, but not for me at least not when it comes to my daily trip to the Hospital in the sky.

So often we ask God for healing and then never take the time to accept it and utilize it. Our fast pace of living as spilled over to our spiritual living. Don't get me wrong, then are times when God will intervene instantly when the need is there. In many cases though he gives us a gift and expects us to take the time to realize just what he has given us.

As I am just recovering from cancer surgery I am most in need of our Father's healing touch. I begin my trip to his Hospital by finding some quite time in a secluded place. I then float to a beautiful cast iron gate that is wrapped in the most vibrant beautiful flowers one could ever imagine. As I approach the gate doors swing open. There is the sound of the birds chirping and the sun is just the perfect temperature accompanied by a gentle breeze.

As I enter in I can hear the sound of running water which I can see it as clear blue just ahead. Beside the stream there is a soft mound of the softest sheep skin that one would almost become lost in. As I lay upon them there's a pillow under my head that I am certain is stuffed with the feathers from angel's wings. I melt into complete relaxation and just wait for the visit from the greatest healer of all. I begin to feel a warmth that is calming and soothing beyond that of the sun. I know I am in his presence. As I lay quietly thinking about him I can feel his touch upon my wounds. To be healed with love is something that cannot be put into words.

.After a period of time I know its time to rise and go about my day. I must say I do just that but reluctantly. I am most aware of the healing that is taking place in my body and I thank God for showing me the way to get the most from the gifts he is constantly giving us.

We rob ourselves so much when we don't take the time to acknowledge and enjoy all that we have. Its just another way that the devil tries to rob us of what our Father wants us to have. It is our duty to keep ourselves in the presence of God. For when we are there nothing can touch us. There is truly no safer place to be.
