Walk With Me...My Journey Part Three
Well hello again. Its time to walk down the third part of my journey. I know in part two I said I would be back in two weeks, but of course the devil just had to try and get in there and put stumbling blocks along the way.

I have had a return visit to my Doctor who had gotten most of the biopsy report back and it was and is great news. He told me that it was a stage one cancer and not the kind that would have spread easily. Plus there was no cancer in the lymph nodes.(i think much to his surprise). He had told me that during surgery that some of the nodes had not looked good so he had a preliminary biopsy done while i was still under the an aesthetic. The report showed they were clear but a few were sent away for further biopsy. Which came back as being cancer free.

There is a strong lesson to be learned from this little bit of the episode. It didn't matter what these looked like,or how suspicious they were, or how concerned the Doctor was about them, God said they were clear and that's exactly what they were. So the lesson is no matter how bad things look, trust the Father and when he says its ok, they you know its ok.

Now to move unto some more exciting news. As you know from part one and two this whole cancer thing started with a problem with my ankle. No matter how many Doctors I went to they couldn't figure out what was wrong yet it was swollen like a balloon. This is what lead them to look for cancer in some other part of my body and consequently it was breast cancer. So they sort of forgot about the foot until they treated what they did know about

In the meantime the swelling went down and the foot pretty well went back to normal. They were still concerned so they decided to do an MRI. Guess what! They did it came back absolutely normal. So what's the lesson behind this part of the story? I tend to be a procrastinate which can be a real downfall to a Christian. I knew I was due for my regular mammogram this year but I wasn't going to do it. So I guess God just stirred up that ankle until I had no choice but to stop procrastinating. Our God is a wondrous and patient God.

Now I'm not finished there's more. When I did my return visit to the surgeon he had most of the biopsy report back but there was still one part missing. That part would determine if I still had to go through chemo treatments or not. He said the report would not take too long. Its been six weeks and I just got the results. Without our Father I would have been on pins and needles every minute waiting to hear. With his grace I almost forgot to call back and check, in fact they called me. The good news is its looking like I won't need the chemo, just some anti cancer drugs. This will be confirmed at my visit with the cancer specialist, not the surgeon.

During my medical travel of tests and examinations they discovered a small nodule on my hip. Of course they are now concerned about this. I just went for a retest this week to see if its growing but don't know results yet.

So if one wonders if my invitation for you to join me on my journey is finished. The answer is no. This journey is not going to end from the world's point of view until the Doctors say you are cancer free. I know I'm cancer free I just want the Doctor's to know what I know and what my Father knows.

So don't forget to come back in the next month or so and we will walk some more.
